This semi soft raw milk cheese rind is washed in Newcastle Brown Ale, having been produced just a little further north in the Cheviot hills of Northumbria. Very smooth in texture. As the cheese ages for 10 months, the washed rind gives the cheese its buttery savoury undertones which give way to a tangy aftertaste
Ideal on an oatcake with a smudge of quince cheese and a chilled viognier.

Recommended wine: Tabalí Pedregoso Gran Reserva Viognier
